Terms of Website Use and Terms of Sale

Last updated: 31 August 2026

These terms cover using this website and buying digital products from our shop. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who you’re dealing with

This site is run by Third Sector Support Solutions Ltd, trading as The Art of Stupidity, company number 09977210, registered office 87 Windmill Avenue, Grimethorpe, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S72 7AH.

2. The content on this site

Blog posts, guides, and articles on this site reflect our own knowledge and experience in third-sector consultancy, governance, and grant funding. They’re written to be genuinely useful, but they are general information, not advice tailored to your specific situation. Funding rules, charity law, and governance requirements change and vary by circumstance — always check the current position with the relevant funder, regulator, or a qualified adviser before relying on anything here for a decision that matters.

All content on this site — text, guides, workbooks, and downloads — belongs to Third Sector Support Solutions Ltd unless stated otherwise. You’re welcome to read, share links to, and quote from our blog with attribution. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our paid products.

3. Buying digital products

When you buy a digital product (a workbook, guide, or checklist) from our shop:

  • You’ll get access or a download link straight after payment.
  • Prices are shown in GBP and include any VAT that applies.
  • We’ll send an order confirmation by email, which is your receipt.

4. Cancellation rights and digital downloads — please read before you buy

Under UK consumer law, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase and get a full refund. For digital products delivered immediately, that right works differently.

Because our products are downloaded or accessed straight away, once you begin downloading or accessing the product, you lose the right to cancel and receive a refund. We’re required to tell you this clearly and get your agreement before you pay, which is why you’ll see a tick box at checkout confirming you understand this.

In practice, this means:

  • Before you’ve downloaded anything, you can still cancel your order for a refund.
  • Once you’ve downloaded or accessed the product, the sale is final. We won’t be able to offer a refund simply because you’ve changed your mind, decided it wasn’t what you expected, or didn’t get round to using it.

If a product is genuinely faulty, corrupted, or not as described, that’s different — contact us at info@3rdsss.com and we’ll sort it out.

5. If something goes wrong with your order

If your download doesn’t work, the file is corrupted, or you were charged incorrectly, email info@3rdsss.com with your order number and we’ll fix it or refund you. This doesn’t affect the point above about change-of-mind refunds.

6. Liability

We provide this website and its content in good faith and take reasonable care over its accuracy, but we don’t accept liability for decisions made based on general blog content. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow us to (for example, in cases of fraud).

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you use the site or place an order.

8. Contact and complaints

If we can’t resolve a complaint directly, you can contact Citizens Advice or use the EU/UK Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.
