What we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name and email address, when you contact us through the website form
  • Name and email address, when you sign up to our newsletter
  • Name, email, and appointment details, when you book a call or meeting
  • Name, email, and billing details, when you buy a digital product through our shop

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through our website hosting and stats tools
  • Cookie data (see Cookies section below)

We don’t store your payment card details. Payments are handled by Stripe (via WooCommerce) or by Ko-fi, depending on where you buy from — neither passes your card details to us.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry
  • To send you the newsletter, if you’ve signed up for it, and only until you unsubscribe
  • To manage bookings and appointments
  • To process your order and deliver the digital product you’ve bought
  • To understand how people use the site, so we can improve it
  • To meet our legal obligations

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for anything beyond what’s listed here.

The lawful bases we rely on

  • Contract — to respond to enquiries, manage bookings, and fulfil orders
  • Consent — for the newsletter and for non-essential cookies
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure and understand basic usage
  • Legal obligation — where the law requires it, including accounting records for sales

Who we share data with

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each only sees the data it needs to do its job:

  • SureForms — processes messages sent through our contact form
  • MailerLite — sends our newsletter, and stores the email addresses of people who sign up to it
  • LatePoint, together with Google Calendar — manages appointment bookings
  • WordPress.com and Jetpack — hosts the site and provides basic visitor statistics
  • WooCommerce and Stripe — processes shop orders and payments for digital products
  • Ko-fi — processes sales of any products still listed there during our move to the new shop

We don’t share your data with anyone else, and we don’t sell it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry and booking details: kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted
  • Newsletter details: kept until you unsubscribe
  • Order and payment records: kept for 6 years, as required for accounting and tax purposes
  • Website statistics: kept for up to 12 months

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete your data (except where we’re required to keep records, such as sales invoices)
  • Stop using your data, or limit how we use it
  • Send you a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Stop sending you marketing (unsubscribe link is on every newsletter email)

To do any of this, email info@3rdsss.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your data secure, including strong passwords and secure hosting. No system is completely risk-free, but we don’t hold sensitive data beyond what’s listed above.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit this site.

Essential cookies keep the site secure and working properly — for example, login and security cookies used by WordPress.com and the checkout process on our shop. These don’t need your consent because the site can’t function without them.

Analytics cookies (Jetpack Stats) let us see how many people visit and which pages they look at. These only run with your consent.

Functionality cookies remember your settings, such as your cookie preferences.

You’ll see a banner when you first visit the site letting you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

Some third-party services set their own cookies when you interact with them directly — MailerLite (newsletter), LatePoint (bookings), Stripe (checkout), and Ko-fi (if buying through that platform). Each has its own privacy and cookie policy.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
