Life is a Constant Risk

Life is a constant risk, and if you forget, you will never be prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. When we come face to face with the inevitable ups and downs of life, we are forced to seek some sort of meaning or purpose for what has happened to us.

However good we are, however much we try to plan our lives, tragedies happen. We can blame others, look for justification, imagine how our lives would have been different without whatever crap has tripped you up. But none of that matters: it’s happened. From now on, all you can do is review your live, overcome whatever fear is holding you back, and begin the process of rebuilding yourself.

We can only hope that, in the days ahead, we are capable of rising up above our own emotional bombsite, and reconstructing the beautiful life we always dreamed of, but never dared create.
